Cracked Black Pepper Pork Sausages

Allergen Advice

Pork (80%), Water, Rusk (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Salt, Spices (Pepper), Dried Onion, Potato Starch, Sunflower Oil, Stabilisers (E450(i), E450(iii)), Sugar, Yeast Extract, Preservative Sulphite (E223), Dextrose, Antioxidant (E300). Natural Hog Casings.

How To Cook

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or gas mark 6.
2. Prick the sausages a few times with a fork to prevent bursting during cooking (Optional)
3. Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausages and cook for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides.
4. Place the browned sausages on a baking tray or oven-safe dish.
5. Transfer the tray to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 75°C.
6. Let the sausages rest for a few minutes before serving.

Note: Cooking times may vary based on the size and thickness of the sausages.

About Our Pork

All of our pork is sourced from British outdoor-bred pigs, primarily from local farms in Essex. These pigs are raised outdoors in spacious paddocks with access to straw-bedded arcs or tents, allowing them to roam freely. Fresh straw is always available, so the pigs can create warm, comfortable beds. They are born and raised outdoors with the sow until weaning at around four weeks old and are reared on a natural diet, often including homegrown cereals.
