How To Cook

1. Preheat your oven to 220°C/425°F.
2. Season the tomahawk steak generously with salt and pepper.
3. Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until very hot.
4. Add a small amount of oil to the skillet and sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side, until a deep brown crust forms.
5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the steak for 10-15 minutes, depending on desired doneness.
6. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 50-55°C (120-130°F) for rare, 55-60°C (130-140°F) for medium-rare, or 60-65°C (140-150°F) for medium.
7. Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

About Our Beef

We source our grass fed beef from small local farms, including our own, then traditionally butcher and dry age in our bespoke ageing facilities in house. All of our beef is raised to the highest standards on a grass fed diet & comes from traditional native breeds cattle such as Hereford & Angus.
